Action Park
A new attraction at Stonecliffe Recreation Area, is an Action Park for skaters and bikers.
Skates include in-line skates, skateboards and scooters.
Bikes include BMX-style bikes only.
Hours - 8:00 a.m. - Sunset (Weather and Conditions permitting) |
Action Park includes Quarter Pipes that range in height from 3-5', Three-sided Pyramid with Curved Rectangular Grind Rail, Double Pump Hump, Grind Box with angled edge, Skate Table (picnic table) with Kicker Ramp, Kinked Rectangular Grind Rail, Straight Round Grind Rail, Kinked Round Grind Rail, 5' Hip and Spine, and 3 Ledges- 2 with 2" round coping, 1 with 2" square coping.
Directions
From Route 183 South (Schuylkill Ave.)
To Lower Lot: (Next to Action Park)
Turn right onto Columbia Street (before bridge into city). At T intersection, turn left onto Butler Street. Follow curve in road. The road is now Columbia St. again. At the end of the street is the Parking Lot. (You must go to the right to enter. There should be arrows on the pavement.)
